The 16th annual Bob Krause Golf Outing kicks off Tuesday, August 6, 2019. At the end of the month the MFC is “going to the Dogs,” an evening at the Chicago Dogs baseball game in Rosemont IL. In mid-September, the 13th annual Midwest Furniture Show takes place in Niles.

“We are entering our busy season, and our team makes big plans for our members that take all year in the planning,” says Kirk Handley, the current Midwest Furniture Club President. “We invite all members of the furniture community to attend our golf outing, our night at the Ballpark and the furniture Show. Even if you are not a member of the Club, today, we hope retailers, manufacturer’s representatives, designers, IT and advertising people and furniture service workers in the upper Midwest feel welcome at each of these events.”

Tuesday golf event is an annual charity event in the memory of Bill Krause, a former head of the MFC. The benefit outing allows an annual contribution to a Montessori school for the hearing impaired. The event started at 11 am at Whisper Creek in Huntley IL followed by an awards ceremony, charity auction and dinner. Contact Mark Dilling at 708-267-7105 for info.

Great seats, lots of fun and camaraderie and a night to relax and enjoy the folks we drive business with are the theme. We are also having a benefit’s focus so all our members know our offerings.”
